The Eye of a Horse

Do you just see an eye?

Do you see what a horses eye reveals?

Do you understand the Language of a horses eye?

Do the work!

Make it fun not only for you,
but for your horse.

It takes lots of time and many steps to have success.

This is a the reality to get to the fantasy.

Everything one does on the ground relates to what you will be asking when progressing to the under saddle work.

Even though the photos shown here are young starter horses, for the older riding horse reviewing from time to time pays off and also can fill in holes that may have been made in the basic work.

The Aussie photo is of our Tony I just added for fun as he loves the big chair in the barn office and more if he has someone to snuggle in and share it with.

My Favorite place is in the BARN!!
The Champagne is my special boy Styrker who makes me smile, laugh and re-enforces why I so love horses!
The black is Keno a rehab fox trotter gotten sound and riding again after much physical correction and emotional work. A few tears were shed along the way in his work learning what he had been through at the hands of humans in such a short life.

Here are photos of a saddle that came in with a rehab horse that has been bucking with this saddle, other than this issue the horse is kind, gentle and has had extensive previous under saddle training. Since the Blog is having problems with up loading videos at present I am also posting a link to a video relating to this saddle .
It is my opinion that products like this should be unacceptable on the market today. Due to the the risk of physical and mental damage possible to a horse and also the risk of injury or worse to horseman and horsewomen.
